How is Trinsicore Different from Conventional Microencapsulation?

Unlike conventional microcapsules which have a single shell, Trinsicore has a smooth outer shell and a porous inner core, made in a single easily controlled process. This outer shell/inner core structure has many technical, formulating and product advantages over both non-encapsulated and single shell microcapsule product types.

The Trinsicore process allows a huge range of physical properties to be adjusted for in the final product with minimal manufacturing changes. These properties include tackiness/viscosity, adherence, smoothness, skin feel and flowability/rheological properties. Other microencapsulation systems may require major changes in methodology or equipment to produce such product variety.

The nature of Trinsicore technology allows other formulation additives to be readily included in the microencapsulation process with minimal effect on production or product properties.

Changes to microcapsule manufacturing settings can be made which reproducibly alter product properties such as adhesion and flowability/rheological properties. Such modification ability allows for great formulation flexibility.

  • Trinsicore technology is highly scalable, consistent and economical in production.
