Nutri-Pharm

Intellectual Property

Nutri-Pharm uses technologies to invent, innovate and augment resources, products, processes and services. Some of these innovations are suited to the patent process but many are suited to a new model of Agile Intellectual Property (Agile IP).

We understand the traditional view of the pharmaceutical industry

Patents are valuable. However, research and development associated with successful patent registration is often slow, expensive and resource demanding over a long period of time.

Agile IP is different from Patents

Agile IP uses short bursts of innovation or augmentation to enhance business reach, revenue or profits. This revolutionary way of doing business is a complement to Patents, rather than a replacement of it. Nutri-Pharm's strategy is to provide organisations with an opportunity to acquire Agile IP and thus creating a unique competitive advantage for market exploration.

Patents are valid for a long period of time and the return on investment (ROI) is a sometimes slow and arduous process. There is always a risk that a competitor copies, circumnavigates, or steals the Patent work, which decreases revenue and market share and may create lengthy and costly litigations for the Patent holder. There are also times when Patents are not available or suitable as protection of a product.

Agile IP is to be seen as many short term gains, with minimal costs and shorter periods to recover the ROI. The risk of theft is mitigated against by continuously releasing new innovative and augmented products and services into the market. Trinsicore and other Nutri-Pharm technologies are well suited to the Agile IP model as new applications and processes are being consistently developed. The Agile IP approach increases revenue and market share and may minimise the need for costly litigations.  Agile IP may be used to take products to the market without the protection of Patents.

Nutri-Pharm recognises data as the new global currency that can be used to invent and create Patents as well as innovate and develop Agile IP. Data as a valuable resource is considered the new oil, the new currency in the era of influencing people's behaviours.
